The Reason for this Season
Crimson garlands, glittering Christmas tree, nicely wrapped gifts, deliciously cooked turkey is what pictured in most people’s mind when they look forward to the Christmas season. These attributes create special festive atmosphere but they should not steal the true reason for this season – birth of the Saviour who left His majestic Heavenly throne and came down to earth to die for our sins so that we may live eternally in the glorious presence of God. This is what our children should learn from us and pass it on to their children.
